About This Project

This online news application (NewsFeed) is simply awesome for your academic project where you will have all most function which are used in a proper manner like commercial projects. The website is responsive and its in good structure.

In this project you will have two panels.

1. Admin Panel
2. Staff Panel

Admin features and functionalities:

1. Dashboard – On this dashboard you will get all statics in display like Mails, News, Categories, Subcategories, Staff, Notification etc.
2. Staff – Admin can add, update, delete staff.
3. Categories – Admin can add, update, delete the categories.
4. Subcategories – Admin can add, update, delete the subcategories.
5. News – Admin can add news and can manage the news.
6. Mail – Admin will get all mails sent by user.
7. Pages – Admin can modify the content of pages.
8. Comment – Admin can approve pending comments and can remove comments.
9. Settings – Admin can update profile like password and some information.

Staff Panel have limited features and functionalities:

1. Dashboard – Here staff can see some information which needed to be.
2. News – Staff can add news and can manage the news.
3. Mail – Staff will get all mails sent by user.
4. Pages – Admin can modify the content of pages.
5. Comment – Staff can approve pending comments and can remove comments.

How to run this project?

XAMPP is a development tool, owned by Apache, it helps to run PHP projects easily on your local computer.  XAMPP package need to be installed.

Step 1: You need to open Apache Friends website and download XAMPP for windows or according to your operating system and install it.

Step 2: Start the XAMPP control panel and do start Apache and MySQL.

Step 3: You need to place your PHP files in the htdocs folder located into XAMPP.

Step 4: Now you need to open any browser and enter in address bar “localhost/filename”. This will open all the files stored in htdocs you need to click on the php file to run project.
